There is a special feature in the knob that will make a tinkling sound when the temperature reaches the boiling point. When the air pressure gets too high, it will be released efficiently to prevent overflowing. Steam will not be able to escape due to the special feature, helping to maintain the food temperature at 80 - 90°C.
 
The cover is made of heat resistant tempered glass.
